The Making of the Film
The planning was the most important part as it helped us gather our research and plan our opening.
We first created a shot list:
SHOT 1:Low angle shot of blurry trees then turns into a long shot of long empty road, from the characters point of view.
SHOT 2:long shot of "Emma" walking towards camera, allowing us to see her surroundings.i.e empty fields.Shows her isolation.
SHOT 3:Close up shot of "Emma"s feet.camera following her as she stumbles. This allows us to see unstability, shown in walking and mise en scene.i.e clothing.
SHOT 4:Mediumm shot of "Emma" walking across the camera ,we see the right side of "Emma".
SHOT 5:Close up of feet walking through puddles.Emma stops to look at Missing sign on ground for 3 seconds then carries on stumbling.
SHOT 6:Close up shot of missing sighn on tree.
SHOT 7:lONG SHOT OF "Emma" walking towards camera,as she is close to the camera we slow down picture.
We had filmed many different scenes but we thought these seven were the strongest ad worked the best.
